Focus on the Future: In 12th grade, the focus shifts to long-term goals. Letters written this year should discuss dreams for the student 10 years into the future, along with a family history story. These letters are stored in the Time Capsule Vault until the student’s 10-year reunion.
Reunion and Reflection: At their 10-year reunion, students receive these letters, providing a powerful reflection on their past dreams and current achievements. This process underscores the importance of long-term planning and the value of family support throughout life.
For More Information: For further details on the project, or to become involved as a Time Capsule Postmaster, please contact Bill Betzen, LMSW (Emeritus), a retired Dallas ISD middle school teacher at bbetzen@aol.com.
